Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ JÁNA Returns With New Song “Ignorancy”
Stockholm-based singer-songwriter Johanna Andrén, aka JÁNA returned with a new song “Ignorancy” on October 28, 2022.
The song is her first music since the 2021 second EP “Works”.
Also, the song will appear on her upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in 2023.
It was written by Johanna Andrén and Karl Erkenborn. Produced by JÁNA and FAMILY_TIME.
JÁNA said of the song, “'Ignorancy' is about the ignorant act of having relationships with people I know were unavailable, either emotionally or in another way occupied by something or someone. While writing the track this became clearer to me for each time me and my co-producer Kalle (FAMILY_TIME) met in the studio I'd had new experiences that made me relate even more to the song and I think I finally landed in it being about my own ignorance.”- She shared on social media, “Feels very special. Been a while since I released new music. I took a year to work in the studio. Been traveling. Playing live. I also went back to studying music. Not going soft on ya. Mostly been writing a lotttt. Still working on the debut album to come in 2023. Hope you will enjoy it and huge thank you to all of you that support me. I'm doing this selfishly but it really makes me happy to hear what you all think”
