American singer-songwriter and bassist Blu DeTiger released a new song “Elevator” along with a music video on October 21, 2022.
The song is the follow-up to “Hot Crush Lover”, which was released back in April.
The track was written by Andrew Jackson, Annika Bennett, Blu DeTiger, and Jorgen Odegard. Produced by Blu DeTiger and Jorgen Odegard.
“'Elevator' is an upbeat, tongue in cheek way of expressing how I feel when I'm stuck in the elevator (of life). It's about moments when I'm down and need to be taken back up,” Blu DeTiger explained of the song. “The song is about turning a bad situation, like being caught in an elevator with someone you don't like or just feeling down, and going through it and getting past it. It's encouraging. The lyric 'I could be a big shot too' reminds me that I can take control of my own journey and path.”
The accompanying video was directed by Average Cowgirl. Rebecca Black, Uffie, Buck Andrews, Dizzy Fae, soph, tallulah, Oscar Scheller, alexander 23, Vinnie Hacker, Gavin Bennett, REX DETIGER, Horace Bray, Kyle Roach, and Dave 1 appeared on the video as cameos.
