American singer-songwriter Alexander Glantz, aka Alexander 23 joined forces with American record producer Kenny Beats to release a new song “ill” on October 14, 2022.
This marks the first collaboration between Alexander 23 and Kenny Beats.
It is the first single since his debut album “Aftershock”, which was released back in July.
The song was written and produced by Alexander 23 and Kenny Beats.
Also, the track features American pop rock band Maroon 5's guitarist James Valentine.
Alexander 23 shared on social media, “'ill' feat Kenny Beats comes out. i think the final big boss step of getting over someone is being at peace with the thought of them being intimate with someone else. this song is about not being there yet.”
He continued, “i am very grateful to have made this song with kenny. kenny is a wizard in the studio. its rare to meet someone who can move culture so effortlessly with both taste and studio proficiency. ive learned so much just from being around kenny and am extremely proud to call him a friend.”- He added, “this song also features a guitar solo from James Valentine. james has been a guitar hero of mine since i first picked up a guitar. i couldn't believe it when he agreed to close the song out with an absolutely stunning solo. james is a fantastic guitar player and an even better guy.”
