Carlie Hanson Releases New Song “608”
American singer-songwriter Carlie Hanson released a new song “608” along with a music video on October 7, 2022 via Warner Records.
The song is her first release since her debut album “Tough Boy”, which was released back in February.
The track was written by Carlie Hanson, Pat Linehan and Dakota Schenumm. Produced by Pat Linehan and Dakota Schenumm.
The accompanying video was directed by Logan Rice.
The song is named after the town of Onalaska, Wisconsin from which she hails.
She reveals the song is about leaving home at 17 to move to Los Angeles, a city that still doesn’t feel like home.
“Every day, I reminisce about the past,” Carlie Hanson said. “imagining what it would be like to sit in the passenger seat of my best friend’s car in the middle of winter. No matter how successful I become, no matter how much money I have, I’m still very much the same girl from small-town Wisconsin that I’ve always been.”
