British girl group Spice Girls announced their new album “Spiceworld 25”, the 25th anniversary edition of their 1997 album “Spiceworld”, would be released on November 4, 2022..
The new collection comprises 25-track, featuring previously unreleased live versions and remixes, plus previously available B-sides "Walk of Life" and "Outer Space Girls" and a megamix.
“The 'Spiceworld' era was such a fun time for us,” said Spice Girls in a statement. “We'd just had a number one album with Spice, we were travelling all over the world and meeting our amazing fans, we released our second album AND we had our very own movie! Who would've thought it? It's crazy to think that 25 years have passed.”
From the album, the group released a new song “Step To Me (7" Mix)” on September 27, 2022.
The original version of the song was released as Pepsi promotional single in 1997.
The track was written by Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, and Eliot Kennedy. Produced by Absolute.
