American singer-songwriter Baker Grace released a cover of American folk rock singer Brandi Carlile's “The Story” on September 9, 2022.
The original version of the song was released by Brandi Carlile from her second album of the same name in 2007.
Also, the track was featured in American medical drama “Grey's Anatomy” in 2007 and is on “Grey's Anatomy” soundtrack. It was written by Phil Hanseroth.
Baker Grace said of the song, “When I first heard 'The Story,' it reminded me why I started doing music in the first place. The idea that I can make someone feel as deeply and powerfully as this song made me feel, gave me the motivation to move forward with my own project.
