Brooklyn-based Canadian dream-pop singer-songwriter Jenny Kern released a new song “Miss Somebody” on September 2, 2022.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming second EP, following “I Should Lose You” and “Feel It Again”.
The track was written by Jennifer Kern, Jacob Morris and Nora Bart. Produced by Carson Cody and Jenny Kern.
Jenny Kern shared on social media, “When I say this is my MOST favourite song I've ever made with Carson Cody I mean it.”
She continued, “As much as love is a part of being human, so is heartbreak. There's something beautiful about remembering something special though. I'm definitely a person who struggles to let go of certain moments, feelings or people. However, I am learning how to appreciate those moments even when they're gone. I'm learning how important it is to live in the present emotions. To think, process and write about them. To feel it all and know it's ok to miss somebody. This song is so special to me and I'm SO happy it's finally yours.”
