Canadian singer-songwriter Braden Lam has released a new song “don't let go” along with a music video.
The song follows up “Silence” featuring Wolf Castle, which was released back in March.
It was written by Braden Lam, and Keeper E. Produced by Colin Buchanan. The accompanying video was co-directed by Braden Lam and Tim Mombourquette.
The video consists of two chapters. The second chapter will be premiered in October.
In the clip, he uses an old 1979 red Volvo car to represent the "holding onto" of the piece or memory of someone you love. For him, it was that car but for listeners, it could also be a song, a place, maybe a sweater that reminds you of that person and how they defined you, made you feel.- Braden Lam shared on social media, “This one is about really strong love - the kind that makes you go to desperate, messy lengths to get someone back.”
He continued, “I feel like a very different person than I was 2 years ago. A lot of positives, some pain, a lot of gratitude. I believe my music is always reflective of this change. When I can't find the words to sum it all up, a song seems to find me instead. I'm excited to introduce you to some new stories and characters.” -
