American actor Joe Keery's solo project, Djo released a new song “Gloom” on July 25, 2022.
The song is the second single off of his upcoming sophomore album “Decide”, following “Change” released back in June.
It was written and produced by Joe Keery with production by Adam Thein.
According to a press release, the song is inspired by Talking Heads.
The new album is set to be released on September 16, 2022. It is his first album in three yeas since the 2019 debut album “Twenty Twenty”.
Joe Keer is better known for playing Steve Harrington in the science fiction series “Stranger Things”.
But aside from acting, he has acted as a musician. Recently, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and talked about his music project Djo.
“It's connected to me, but it's not directly connected to me, was the idea,” he said. “I was kind of inspired by Andy Kaufman, you know? So that was kind of the idea, this alter ego sort of musician.”- Xs4KjJfRFG8
