American soul pop/rock singer-songwriter Casii Stephan released a new song “Trust Fall” on July 20, 2022.
Earlier this month, Casii Stephan teased the song on Instagram with a recoding photo, “One of my favorite things about the recording process is getting to create different textures and adding layers to songs that are in my head. I have been working with @makersout on a couple of new demos and I am about to release my newest full band single, "Trust Fall" later this month. Thank you all for going on this creative journey with me.”
The song is her second single of 2022, following “Already Gone” released back in March. It was written by Casii Stephan and Scott Bell.
She shared, “When you know how badly it can hurt to have your heart broken and you still open yourself up to love and trust someone, it can be one of the bravest things you can do. That's what this song is all about - learning to love again when it's easier to keep your walls up.”- An underlying theme throughout her music is hope, she explains, “Its such a cliche word and yet there are so many layers to it. Hope keeps us alive. It keeps us moving. But it also feels flighty some days like a pixie that does what it wants. But it's not a pixie. It's more like the air we breathe. Some days its presence is stronger than we realize and some days we forget in our day-to-day lives that it's there... keeping us moving forward”.
