British singer-songwriter Grace Davies released a new song “Wolves” on July 1, 2022.
The song is her first single since the 2021 EP “I Wonder If You Wonder”.
Also, it is the first single off of her upcoming third EP, which is expected to be released in 2022.
Originally, she wrote the song in 2017 and performed at The X Factor UK 2017 Semi Finals.
Grace Davies shared on social media, “some of u might know i wrote a song called Wolves in 2017 whilst I was in the X Factor 🐺 i cannot tell u what a huge impact this song had on my career, and to be finally releasing it means the world to me 🥺”
It was written by Grace Davies, David Sneddon, Anu Pillai, and Toby Scott. Produced by Grace Davies and Toby Scott.
Grace Davies said of the song, “This is about owning your mistakes and using them as ammunition to power through life. 'You can run, you can hide, but you need to find your way through the fire'. It's a power anthem about recovering after a world of shit was thrown at you and believing that if you can get through that then you're invincible and can get through anything. Having lived with this song for five years, I was excited to get stuck into the production as I'd always had a strong vision for the track”.- source : Spotify
