Chappaqua Wrestling Premieres New Song “Full Round Table” on BBC Radio 1
British alt-rock band Chappaqua Wrestling premiered a new song “Full Round Table” along with a music video on BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Jack Saunders.
The song is the first single under their new label EMI.
It was written by Charlie Woods and Jake Macleod. Produced by Damon Minchella and Tom Manning.
Chappaqua Wrestling said of the song, “We wrote Full Round Table as a reaction to the endless negativity put in our faces about our generation's future. So much news is greeted with the response of how screwed we are - hopeless views from unhelpful people. Negativity about youth is relative per generation but today it feels stronger. We want to ignore the cynicism, get together, appreciate what really matters, and not let people tell us what we can't do. The Full Round Table is full of our friends, and that's not changing.”
Chappaqua Wrestling was formed in Manchester in late 2017 by songwriters Charlie Woods (vocals/guitar) and Jake Mac (guitar). Since moving back south, they have been joined by John-Paul Townsend (drums) and Coco Varda (keyboards). They now live in South London.
The band released their debut EP “EP 1” in 2017.
