American singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has shared a new song “Block me out” along with a lyric video.
The song is her first single since the 2021 EP “This Is What It Feels Like”.
She wrote the song with Aaron Dessner, who is better known as American alt-folk band Big Red Machine members and co-producer for Taylor Swift's eighth studio album “Folklore”, which won Grammy Awards for Album of the Year.
She recorded the song at Long Pond Studio in a forested area in Hudson Valley, New York. Also, she recorded the EP “This Is What It Feels Like” at the same studio last year.
Aaron Dessner shared last October, “The incredibly talented songwriter Gracie Abrams came to visit me at Long Pond this summer....we had a magical week making songs together.”
He recently shared, “It has felt so effortless and special making songs with you Gracie Abrams... I can't wait for people to hear all of them”
