Alicia Keys Releases New Song “City of Gods (Part II)”
American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys released a new song “City of Gods (Part II)” along with a music video on April 7, 2022.
The song is a sequel to the collaborative song “City of Gods” with American rappers Fivio Foreign and Kanye West.
The original version of the song was released back in February.
It was written and produced by Alicia Keys. The video was directed by Sylvia Zachary and Sing Lee.
The track interpolates The Chainsmokers' 2016 song “New York City” and Kanye West's 2021 song “Off The Grid”.
She described in a press release as “a soulful, stripped-back piano rendition of the hit single.”
Alicia Keys also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday for the debut television performance of the track.
