- American singer-songwriter Madonna teamed up with Canadian DJ Sickick and American rapper Fireboy DML to release a new remix of “Frozen”.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ricardo Gomes.
The original of the song was released in 1998 as the lead single from her seventh studio album “Ray of Light”.
The song reached No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the UK Singles chart.
It was written by Madonna and Patrick Leonard. Produced by William Orbit.
Also, “Ray of Light” has sold over 16 million copies and is one of the best-selling albums by women.
Sickick’s “Frozen” remix went viral on TikTok in March 2021. Then, Madonna and Sickick officially released the remix of the song last December.
Following the remix, the pair recruited Fireboy DML on the new version on March 3, 2022.
