George Ezra Announces New Album “Gold Rush Kid”, Shares New Song “Anyone For You”
British singer-songwriter George Ezra is back. He announced his third studio album “Gold Rush Kid” would be released on June 10, 2022 via Columbia Records.
It is his first album in four years since the 2018 album “Staying at Tamara's”.
From the album, he unveiled the lead single called “Anyone For You” along with a music video on January 28, 2022.
It was written by George Ezra and Joel Pott, who also produced the track.
The accompanying video was directed by Andrew Donoho, who filmed in Los Angeles.
George Ezra said of the song, “'Anyone For You' is a patchwork of lyric ideas found in old notebooks and chance moments shared between musicians in the studio.”
The new album comprises 12-track. “The Gold Rush Kid? That's me,” he explained of the album title. And he described the album as “marvellous, transporting [and] elevational,” and added, “ [The songs] sound like me. That's what ties them together.”- Photo by Alex Eden-Smith
