Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Cannons Releases New Song “Purple Sun” from New Album “Fever Dream”
Los Angeles-based pop trio Cannons, consisting of Michelle Joy (lead vocals), Ryan Clapham (guitar), and Paul Davis (bass/keyboard), released a new song “Purple Sun” on January 7, 2022.
The song is taken from their upcoming third studio album “Fever Dream”, following “Bad Dream” and “Ruthless”.
It was written by Paul Davis, Michelle Joy and Ryan Clapham.
Frontwoman Michelle Joy said of the song, “We're so excited to kick off the new year with a new song from our upcoming full length album Fever Dream. 'Purple Sun' is a song that transports you into a warm lighthearted world where reality and dreamworld intertwine, sparking the desire to love and enjoy the moment fearlessly.”
“Fever Dream” is the first album under their new label Columbia Records and is due out this spring.
The band embarks on Fever Dream Tour in March and April. The tour kicks off at El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on March 1, 2022 and will conclude at Constellation Room in Santa Ana on April 15, 2022.
