Norwegian DJ Alan Walker teamed up with Swedish singer-songwriter Winona Oak to release a new song “World We Used To Know”.
The song is taken from his upcoming sophomore album “World of Walker”, which is due out November 26, 2021.
This marks the first collaboration between Alan Walker and Winona Oak.
The track was written by Julia Karlsson, Fredrik Borch Olsen, Lara Andersson, Kasper, Alan Walker and Winona Oak.
Alan Walker shared on social media, “Hi Walkers! I am excited to bring you my latest single alongside the very talented Winona Oak. World We Used To Know is the 11th track on my upcoming album, World of Walker. Stay tuned for the album release on November 26th.”
Winona Oak shared, “Our planet is changing rapidly. Forests and plants are replaced with skyscrapers and highways. Moments that seems like forever turn to exist only in our minds. 'World we used to know' is full of melancholic nostalgia before entering the unknown. How can one person missing make it feel like the whole world is empty? How did places full of life turn into garbage patches? This song and it's message is close to my heart and it's been a joy creating it together with Alan Walker and the incredible songwriters involved. I hope you will love it as much as I do! ❤️🌎👽”
The new album comprises 11-track, featuring guest appearances from Conor Maynard, salem ilese, Winona Oak, K-391 and Boy In Space. It is his first LP in three years.- source : Apple Music
