The Robot's Guide to Living Releases New Song “Goodbye, Goodnight”
Back in August, American pop-punk band The Robot's Guide to Living was back as a five-piece band, and released “Cure Me”.
Recently, Cecily joined in the band as a new bassist.
Following “Cure Me”, the band released a new song “Goodbye, Goodnight” on October 15, 2021.
The track was written by The Robot's Guide to Living and produced by Scott Sellers.
The song is an emotionally-charged rock and roll track that stems from personal experiences with losing loved ones.
The Robot's Guide to Living said of the song, “'Goodbye, Goodnight' is about loss of loved ones, Specifically through intentional suicide and accidental drug overdose. It was inspired by, and is dedicated to, two of our close friends that we have lost recently for these exact reasons. The song deals with the anger, frustration and sadness in feeling that we will never know what lead to those decisions and if there was anything that we could have done to get them the help they needed.”- source : Spotify
