DBMK Releases New Song “Tough”
Nashville-based alt-pop duo DBMK, consisting of Kyle Knudsen (vocals) and Colton Ward (drums), released a new song “Tough”.
The song is their first single since the 2020 EP “Jump in the Dark”.
It was written by Colton Ward and Kyle Knudsen. Produced by Jeff Hazin.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ty Combs and DBMK.
The track features catchy pop melodies, experimental electronics, textured percussion and even a standout guitar solo.
“‘Tough’ is a song about feeling utterly stuck in the place you’re at in life and being constantly overlooked by a world that seems to be moving faster and faster around you,” DBMK said of the song in a statement. “This place that you’re stuck in could be school, a job, a relationship, or a state of mine.
