  • Tora Releases New Song “Inundated”

  • Amsterdam-based Australian electro-pop band Tora, consisting of Thorne Davis (drums), Shaun Johnston (bass), Jo Loewenthal (vocals, guitar), and Jai Piccone (guitar), released the fourth single called “Inundated” from their upcoming third studio album “A Force Majeure”.

The track was written by Johan Pele Brock Loewenthal, Jaiendra Cedar Piccone, Shaun Rouma Johnston and Thorne Kelsey Howell Davis.
The accompanying music video was directed by Bob Sizoo, who filmed it on the island of Vlieland, The Netherlands.
Tora shared on social media, “We shot this video on a sand bank in the middle of the Dutch sea in -6° temperature and 100kmph winds…was worth it!”
The band said of the song, “This song is about being absolutely infatuated by somebody, whilst simultaneously being afraid that they are stringing you along, leading you to believe a false reality, it's about being afraid to fully trust somebody because they make you feel so good that you fear how much power they wield over you. This was one of the last additions to the album, in the late stages of recording the album we discovered this idea which came together really fast and had this different energy so we felt compelled to include it.”
The new album comprises of 11-track, featuring guest appearances from Angie Hudson, Molly Nicholson and Asha Franco, and is set to be released on September 3, 2021.
