Former Fifth Harmony Dinah Jane has shared a new song “Missed A Spot”, following “1501”, which was last month.
The track sampled Men at Work's 1981 smash hit “Down Under”.
"I couldn't wait to release this one," Dinah Jane told MTV News. “It's been about two years since I've had this record, but I feel like right now is the perfect time for me to release it because it goes with my mood.”
She added, “I got so excited because I already have a lot of love for Australia, so the moment I heard the 'down under' part, I was like, 'Yes, that's the song!'”
Unfortunately, filming for the video has been put on hold due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Also, she was set to spend April and May touring North America and Europe, but announced last month that all of her current dates have been postponed.
she wrote on Instagram, “I know it's unfortunate. I can't tell you all how excited I was to perform for y'all — and for all of you to see my fellow amazing ladies Agnez Mo & Haven crush it!! I'm bummed to not be able to perform the new music that I've been working so hard on but you know me, I've always got lil tricks up my sleeves hehe ... so don't you worry, new dates are being worked out now and I promise you guys will be the first to know as soon as there are new updates to share.”- source : MTV
