American rapper Nicki Minaj is back. She released a new song “Yikes” on February 7th. She teased the song on Instagram a couple days ago.
Recrntly, she worked with Ariana Grande, Normani on “Bad To You”, Meghan Trainor on “Nice To Meet Ya” and KAROL G on “Tusa”. But finally, she released her own song.
Also, the song is her first track since her retirement announcement. Last September, she tweeted, "I've decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain't nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE."
The track was written by Derrick Milano, Pooh Beatz, Bobby Lamar Barrett and Nicki Minaj.

I’ve been bullied,” she tweeted of the song, “I made up the hook with no paper. Just freestyled in the booth cuz I loved the beat. so the yikes part is me hearing the beat for the very first time.
