Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Kygo & Sandro Cavazza Premiere Avicii's Unreleased Song “Forever Yours”
Norwegian DJ Kygo and Swedish singer-songwriter Sandro Cavazza teamed up to pay tribute to late Swedish DJ Avicii.
Both artists premiered Avicii's unreleased song “Forever Yours”. The track was performed by Kygo at the Avicii Tribute Concert on December 5th, 2019.
Back in 2016, Sandro Cavazza and Avicii wrote the song during a road trip across the US and performed it at Ultra 2016. But before the release of the song, unfortunately Avicii died in 2018.
Kygo said of the song, “I really like this type of production, it just felt special. My biggest dream is to be in the studio with Tim, but unfortunately, I never get to do so. So when Sandra sent me the song, I felt like that is the closest I could get to collaborate with Tim…It does not have to be a sad song, it can be something hopeful.”- a7iVpTMsqTA

Sandro Cavazza said, “This version of Forever Yours is a Tribute to Tim that I and Kygo have put together to honor what he has meant to both of us. The music we made together has changed my life and my perspective on music. He was Kygo’s biggest idol and biggest inspiration and that’s what has made this Tribute possible.
We’re releasing this song together with Tim’s family and the proceeds from the track will go to the nonprofit Tim Bergling Foundation which benefits organizations that support mental health issues, suicide prevention and education, wildlife conservation and other issues that Tim had an interest in and passion for.”- source : Your EDM
