Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Grouplove Returns With New Song “Deleter”
Los Angeles-based alt-rock band Grouplove will release their fourth studio album “Healer” on March 13th. It is their first LP in four years.
The band dropped a new song “Deleter” with an accompanying music video directed by Chris Blauvelt from the album.
"The world is in a crazy place right now, and we all need something to rally us with," frontman Christian Zucconi told triple j Drive about the song. "...Where we’re all at and what we can all do, individually and as a community, to help the cause of goodness."
He continued, "Something you wish you had the power with your mind to forget or physically delete... Hit that backspace in your mind, remove it from your thinking if you can. It’s whatever you want it to be.”
The song was recorded in El Paso, Texas with producer Dave Sitek. “We love working with Dave," Chris' wife and keyboard Hannah Hooper said. "From the stories we know, you either become Dave’s best friends or it doesn’t work out. Luckily, we fell into the homie vibe with him and really went on a journey to make this album."
The band will embark on “Healer Tour” across the US in support of the album, with beginning at The Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ on March 20th.
