American singer-songwriter Halsey appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform her latest song “Graveyard”. She used AR technology during her performance.
The song was released back in September. In addition to the song’s official music video of a time-lapse version was released, in which she paints a large self-portrait. Another version of the video was released on October 8th, directed by Anton Tammi.
She first performed the song at the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2019.
She told Billboard about the song, “The song is about being in love with someone who is in a bad place and loving them so much that you don’t realize that you’re going to that bad place with them… It’s also about learning to care about yourself enough not to follow them there.”
The song will appear on her upcoming third album “Manic”, which is set to be released on January 17, 2020.
She said, “hip-hop, rock, country, fucking everything — because it’s so manic. It’s soooooo manic. It’s literally just, like, whatever the fuck I felt like making; there was no reason I couldn’t make it.”- OJdT-b6PeFc
