Ben Platt Unveils New Song “Rain”
- American actor Ben Platt won 2016 Tony Award for his performance as Evan in Dear Evan Hansen. Then he signed to Atlantic Records and released his debut album “Sing to Me Instead” produced by Jenn Decilveo back in March.
5 months later, he unveiled a new song “Rain” as the stand-alone single. It is a dance-pop. “I hope it brings you dance & catharsis,” Ben tweeted. “May I suggest you blast it.”
Ben Platt is the star of the upcoming Netflix show The Politician, alongside Jessica Lange, Gwenyth Paltrow and Laura Dreyfuss.
It is the first series as part of his new deal with the streaming platform. The show will premiere on September 27th. - source : Idolator
