Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ TOOL Returns With New Song “Fear Inoculum”
American rock band TOOL is back. The band will release their fifth studio album “Fear Inoculum” on August 30th for the first time in 13 years.
On August 7th, the album title track was released as the lead single.
The 10-minute epic track was writen by Danny Carey, Justin Chancellor, Adam Jones & Maynard James Keenan.
“I feel like this is [about] wisdom through age, through experience,” lead singer Maynard James Keenan explains of that theme in Revolver’s new 20-page cover story. “Hopefully through aging you find wisdom in some of the things you’ve encountered. Learning from your mistakes, learning from your successes. So if anything is a broad stroke of this album, it would be embracing where we are right now, acknowledging where we’ve come from and some of the things we’ve grown through.”
A deluxe, limited-edition CD version of the new album features a 4-inch HD rechargeable screen with exclusive video footage, charging cable, 2 watt speaker, a 36-page booklet and a digital download card.- source : Revolver
