Raised on TV Shares New Song “Soul on Fire”
Los Angeles-based alt-rock band Raised on TV has shared a new song “Soul on Fire” from their upcoming sophomore album “Season 2”, which is expected to be released later this year.
The track is influenced from '60s and '90s rock, but they created their own sound on rhythmic rock beats with guitar and base.
“It's about the fantasy of throwing your cell phone literally out the window, which is one of the lines in the song, and not caring whatsoever, which has become so hard to imagine,” the band said of the song. “We wanted the single to sound like we sound in the garage, or on stage, to have that live feel, but to also have that attention to detail.”
The new album is their first LP in two years. The band reveals about the album, “It's beyond adolescence and teen angst. There's still some angst, but maybe that angst is more adult? Dealing with financial struggles, relationship struggles, losing friends, etc.”- Raised on TV consists of two brothers and their high school friend, Keaton Rogers (guitar, vocals), Kacey Greenwood (drums) and Ryan Weiss (bass). The band released the 14-track debut album “Season 1” in 2017.
Raised on TV launched "The Off the Couch Summer Tour of 2019" at Harvard And Stone on June 28th. The tour takes place in North America through to August.
