Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Diplo and MØ Premiere New Song “Stay Open”
American DJ Diplo and Danish singer-songwriter MØ re-united for a new song “Stay Open”. MØ teased the song on Instagram yesterday.
To date, both artists have collaborated together for "Get It Right" (2017) which peaked at No. 12 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, "Cold Water" (2016) which rocketed to No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and "Lean On" (2015) which climbed its way to No. 4 on US Billboard Hot 100.
The song is as one of a new music campaign called "Tuborg Open" provided by Tuborg, who is a Danish brewing company with Carlsberg group.
Diplo's group Major Lazer joined in the Tuborg Open in 2017. The Danish lager brand kicks off the second year of the event, some artists across Tuborg’s key markets in Asia and Europe will build upon the campaign in the months to come.
Diplo said of "Tuborg Open";
“To be part of Tuborg Open for the second year is really cool. This year Tuborg came to us with the idea of being “Open to More” and MØ and I were already working on ‘Stay Open,’ this track about how so many times people are closed but it’s important to stay open to new people and experiences."-
He continued, "It fits the campaign perfectly and the artists from around the world are already coming to us with ideas of how they want to change it up and add their own perspective to the idea of staying open which is the really cool bit of the project.”
