Polish singer-songwriter Marina Luczenko-Szczęsna, aka MaRina has delivered a new song “Hiding In The Water” via digital music services. Last month, she released previous song “Takin 'Ya Rock Out”, the new song follows up it.
Both songs of “Hiding In The Water” and “Takin 'Ya Rock Out” were taken from her upcoming sophomore album.
About the new song, MaRina said (original language Polish)
“I did not want to explain to anyone what happened to me until I knew if I would regain my voice. And the media volunteered to create my image so that others could think of me the worst. People love to anonymously pay attention and criticize, especially those who do not do much more in their own lives.
Dear, I will reveal to you another number from my upcoming album. This is a particularly important song for me ... in my opinion, one of the better ones I have been able to compose. I think it reflects the character of my album very well. I hope you will feel it.”-
MaRina is a three-time winner of the Inter-school Festival in Stalowa Wola. In 2004, she played Juliet for musical “Romeo and Juliet” directed by Janusz Józefowicz.
In 2007 she participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Latvia and received 3rd place. She signed to Universal Music Group and debuted with her first single “Glam Pop” in 2011. Followded by she released a debut album “Hard Beat”.
But, she was diagnosed with a polyp after her own tour and underwent surgery. She came back in 2014 and released the 5th single “On My Way” in 2016. - source : VIVA! pl
