Swedish singer-songwriter SHY Martin unveiled a new song “Break With Me” with an accompanying music video.
It is her first single since her sophomore EP “Sad Songs”, which was released last August.
The track was written by Hampus Hjellström, Litens, Nirob Islam and SHY Martin. Produced by Carl Silvergran, Felix Flygare Floderer and SHY Martin.
The video was directed by Hampus Hjellström and SHY Martin herself.
She wrote the song on the way back from a trip to the lake with her boyfriend, brother and friend.
"It almost felt like I had been living in a bubble for the last couple of years that suddenly burst," SHY Martin said. "Last year really got me to reflect and reevaluate lots of things, which also changed my priorities. I've become closer to my family and my friends, and I've started to prioritize my health. I've had lots of time to think about what truly makes me happy and what I don't wanna waste my energy on.
