Anson Seabra Releases New Song “Walked Through Hell”
- Back in May, Kansas City-based singer-songwriter Anson Seabra released his debut EP “Songs I Wrote in My Bedroom”. The EP features beautiful 15 ballads with only piano.
Following the EP, he dropped a new song “Walked Through Hell” on November 20th via Caroline. He teased the initial idea to Tik Tok, the video amassed 4 million views before even completing the full version.
The song is an ode to a failed relationship. Produced by Sam de Jong.
Anson Seabra said of the song, “It’s about feeling like you did everything you could for someone who just took you for granted. Even though you did everything you thought this person wanted, you still end up alone. It’s sad, desperate, and emotional. There’s something really beautiful about a sad song.”
The track will appear on his upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in 2021.
He said, “I hope what I’m doing makes you feel good. I’m just a guy who’s trying to be honest with himself and wants to help other people. That’s why I make music.”
