Jimkata Releases New Song “Blessings In Disguise”
Last month, Los Angeles-based electro-rock band Jimkata, consisting of Evan Friedell, Aaron Gorsch and Packy Lunn, announced their fifth studio album “Bonfires” will be released in Spring 2021. It is their first album in six years.
From the album, the band released the fifth single “Blessings In Disguise”, following “Weight of Paradise”, “Bonfires”, “Wait for You” and “Wanna Go”.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ben Clarkson.
Evan Friedell said of the song, “We’re all just trying to get by in this age of growing income inequality and to be able to do what you love in the midst of that is special”.
The album comprises of 10-track, thematically, Bonfires touches on poignant themes of uncertainty, being in limbo, and looking for an anchor of hope in these trying times.
The band planes to release a new song from the album every month with an accompanying visuals and merch line.- source : Spotify
