British girl group Little Mix performed “Secret Love Song” at Little Mix The Search of BBC.
Unfortunately, group member Jesy Nelson is ill, and they performed the song without her. Also, they will appear on the MTV Europe Music Awards without her.
Little Mix said in a statement, “Jesy is unwell and will not be appearing on tonight's final of Little Mix The Search. She will also not be hosting or performing at tomorrow's MTV EMA's.”
A statement on social media from publicist Simon Jones had stated the same, and said that Nelson would also not be able to take part in Sunday night's awards show.
“Secret Love Song” was released in 2016 from their third studio album “Get Weird”. The track features American singer=songwriter Jason Derulo.
At that time, Jesy Nelson said of the song, “I think it could be about anything really. It could be about couples that aren't allowed to be together, or feel like they can't be together. It could be about being in love with someone who doesn't know you're in love with them.”- source : BBC One
