Jackie Venson Premieres New Song “Keep On” on SoundCloud
Austin-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Jackie Venson plans to release 12 singles and 12 accompanying music videos this year.
She has already released four singles such as "Never Say Die", "Only Have You", "Rollin and Tumblin" and "Don't Lie to Me".
On August 1st, the fifth single “Keep On” arrived.
Each song is different music style, but all songs are based on her roots R&B.
The new track is pop song that begins with guitar of syncopation rhythm, overlapping her melodious vocals.
Jackie Venson said of the song;
"It was a song I had just finished and in order to make the deadline for releasing the single in time. That was crazy, the band had learned it in 2 days and we worked it out. The video was even more interesting. We filmed a road trip to Big Bend and a lot of crazy stuff ended up happening including a monsoon in which we got our car stuck in the mud for a whole day. Let’s just say this release fought us a little bit but ended up being one of my favorites. It was worth the trouble!"-
Last September, Jackie Venson released the new EP "Transcends" produced by Michael Ramos. Since then, she has been running the tour in support of the EP.
Also she will appear on Austin City Limits Festival 2018 between October 5th and 7th.
