Echos Announces New Album “QUIET, IN YOUR SERVICE”, Shares New Song “OVER & OVER”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Alexandra Norton, aka Echos has announced her upcoming fourth studio album “QUIET, IN YOUR SERVICE” will be released on January 17, 2025 via Outlast Records.
The album is her first body of work in three years since the 2022 album “Affirmations” and comprises 9 songs.
Echos said of the album, “This album is my most cherished work yet. It's a testament to my journey toward healing and reclaiming my voice. My hope is that through my music, others will feel less alone in their struggles and realize that healing is possible,”
From the album, she released the fourth single called “OVER & OVER” on November 29, 2024.
The track was written by Alexandra Norton, Andrew Tempfer, Josh KJ Strock, and Ryan Tempfer. Produced by KJ Strock.
She said of the song, “This song is about the struggle of continually giving in and losing myself in the process. It's about finally learning to stand up for myself and choosing healing over pain.”- Echos said of the album, “When I started this album I had no idea what I wanted to say other than sit down and sing and try to make sense of my pain. It all started because I sat in on a session with my friends Gold Souls. Within moments of us working together we looked at each other and knew we had something special. The first song we wrote together sent chills down my spine - a lot of it was just freestyle lyrics on my end, humming whatever wanted to fall out of my mouth and listening back to the session in tears realizing the self I had lost finally come to the surface again. I began to trust that my pain is valid and deserved. a final resting place in these songs.”

She continued, “Every song on this body of work helped me find myself again. I got my voice back, my personality, my confidence, my hope and sense of direction, my creativity, my hope for the future and a new outlook on life. I couldn't have done it without my incredible support system of my therapist, family and friends. My hopes is that anyone going through anything similar can find solace in these songs and know that they are not alone and healing is possible. Reclaiming yourself and sense of power isn't an easy feat. I still have really hard days but they are slowly becoming few and far between. Thank you for supporting me for so many years.”
