Toronto-based singer-songwriter elijah woods released a new song “losing a friend” on March 8, 2024.
The song is the first single of 2024, following the release of the collaborative single “last girl” featuring Canadian country singer-songwriter MacKenzie Porter last November.
The track delves deep into the complexities of human relationships and the tumultuous journey of self-discovery.
It was written and produced by elijah woods.
“'losing a friend' was written about a very personal experience,” elijah woods said of the song. “The progression from a small, intimate piano ballad to a full-out rock-inspired soaring outro encapsulates the love, confusion, disappointment and grief. The song speaks to the end of a friendship and the emotional rollercoaster that comes with it.”- elijah woods will support Irish singer-songwriter Niall Horan's tour at Beach City International Stadium in Jakarta on May 11, 2024.
After that, elijah woods embarks on his headline tour in Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
The tour kicks off at Esplanade Annexe Studio in Singapore on May 13 and will conclude at Clapper Studio in Taipei, Taiwan on May 24, 2024.
Also, he will appear on Seoul Jazz Festival alongside Lauv, Jeremy Zucker, and JP Saxe on May 31, 2024.
