  • American singer-songwriter and former Fifth Harmony member, Lauren Jauregui released a new song “The Day The World Blows Up” in support of the children of Palestine amid the Israel-Hamas conflict on January 29, 2024.

Last December, the song was exclusively released on Even.biz for $3, a portion of profits would go to the Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA) to support Palestinian children, along with Food Against Hunger's fund to support Sudanese families in Egypt amid the healthcare crisis in the country.
The track was written by Lauren Jauregui, Mattius, Money Jezus, ans Stan Greene.
Lauren Jauregui said of the song, “This song is an ode to the feelers out there who hold the strength, tenacity and heart to imagine, pray and fight for a better world to leave for our children in the midst of chaos. They are all ours. May we never stop dreaming of freedom until it is truly for us all. I wrote this song on November 6th but I feel like it has tried to write itself many times before. It encompasses the underlying energy I've been feeling for a while now about this world. My heart has been in a state of perpetual heartbreak and music as always is the only thing that makes it make sense. Even still in the midst of this chaos I feel a hope in us finding each other and remembering what we truly are. I hope this song finds you if you need it.”
  • She shared on social media, “'The Day That The World Will Blow Up' is out now exclusively on Even.biz for $3. I will be sharing a portion of profits with Last December, the song was exclusively released on Even.biz, a portion of profits with MECA would go to the Middle East Children's Alliance to support Palestinian children, along with Food Against Hunger's fund to support Sudanese families in Egypt amid the healthcare crisis in the country in support of Palestinian children and a go fund me for FAH providing financial assistance to Sudanese families in Egypt. Thank you for listening, please share with whoever you can.”

  • She continued, “A song about the state of the world, how much it breaks my heart, and how much closer I think we'd all be if they finally told us the day they were gonna nuke this place already. While y'all talking about women fighting one another over some bullsh!t, there's a whole ass country with children getting obliterated by our tax dollars. Just to put some shit into perspective in this current climate about how fucked our priorities are. Maybe this song will be the balm that heals us all? Idk but I know that's my intention. Run it up bbies.”
