Zach Seabaugh Releases New Song “Helium Balloons”
Back in October, Nashville-based indie-pop singer-songwriter Zach Seabaugh released his highly-anticipated debut album “Mr. Nobody”.
He shared on social media, “This is insane. What a year. Thank you for being here and letting my music be a part of your journey.”
Following the debut album, he released a brand new song called “Helium Balloons” on December 1, 2023.
The track was written by Zach Seabaugh, Sam Johnston, and Jaxson Free. Produced by Blake Ruby and Sam Johnston.
Zach Seabaugh said of the song, “I read a story about leaving a restaurant as a child with a balloon tied to your wrist. When you get to the car, your mom and dad say you can’t bring it home and you have to let it go. In the moment, you’re broken up about it but quickly after, you forget that you even had the balloon.”
- He continued, “I wanted to write a song relating back to this, with the thing you’re letting go of being a past relationship that didn’t work out, or an old habit you’re trying to kick. You want to hold on, but you come to accept that it’s better to just let go.”
He added, “There’s a lot of moments in life I wish it could be that easy. Old habits, memories, relationships, seasons - whatever the case may be. I hope people can relate to the same in the struggles they’re facing in their own life.”
