Ryder & Skepta Team Up for New EP “48 Hours” featuring Dré Six
Hull-based music producer Ryder and British rapper Skepta teamed up to release their new collaborative EP “48 Hours” on November 24, 2023.
The EP comprises 5-track, including two new songs and three remixes. Produced by Jason Adenuga, Ragz Originale and Ryder.
Ryder and Skepta recorded the EP together within 48 hours at Skepta's studio.
Two new tracks “All Alone” and “For You” were written by Ryder and Skepta, featuring London-based singer-songwriter Dré Six.
Two songs are with an inner-city essence that expertly captures the emotional volatility of life's brighter climbs and darker depths.
Ryder said, “My focus is on the emotion, how it makes the listener feel”.
Three remixes “#skeptacore pt. 1”, “#skeptacore pt. 2” and “#skeptacore pt. 3” were edited of Skepta's albums.
“#skeptacore pt. 1” is a remix of "Bullet from a Gun" from Skepta's 2019 fifth studio album “Ignorance Is Bliss”.
“#skeptacore pt. 2” is a remix of “Konnichiwa”, and “#skeptacore pt. 3” is a remix of “Text Me Back”, both songs are featured on Skepta's 2016 fourth studio album “Konnichiwa”.- source : Apple Music
