GAYLE Releases New Song “i don't sleep as good as i used to”
American singer-songwriter GAYLE released the fourth single of 2023 called “i don't sleep as good as i used to” on October 6, 2023.
GAYLE first performed the song while opening for P!nk's Summer Carnival tour this summer.
The track was written by Daniel Kyriakides, GAYLE, Reed Berin, and Sara Davis. Produced by Reed Berin.
“‘I don’t sleep as good as i used to’ is about losing your childlike magical thinking on the world,” GAYLE said of the song in a statement. “The realities of the world slowly seep into you until one day you look up and you notice the world isn’t running as perfectly as you once thought it was and maybe if you’re quiet you can even possibly feel the weight we all feel living the human experience.”
- GAYLE embarks on her own headlining tour “Scared But Trying” this month. The tour kicks off at Crowbar in Tampa, FL on October 17 and will conclude at The Basement East in Nashville, TN on November 15, 2023.

GAYLE said, “Going on tour with Taylor Swift and P!nk has been some of the most exciting and terrifying moments of my life. Before walking on stage I would get nauseas and it would be hard for me to control my breathing but no matter how I felt, I would try and do it anyways. The thought of going on my own tour is very intimidating to me but I’ve been scared for the past two years and over time I’ve learned I can do things even though I’m afraid. with this tour, I am scared, but i’m ready to try.”
