  • Kelly Clarkson Releases New Song “roses”

  • American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson released a new song “roses” from her upcoming deluxe edition of the tenth studio album “Chemistry”on September 8, 2023.

On the track, she sings about losing faith in her relationship, “It's too late for roses, they'll die in a day / You can't put a band-aid on the way that we're breakin' / It's too late for diamonds, they all come with chains / So don't waste your money on it, we can't be saved / There ain't enough roses, no.”
The track was written by Amy Allen, Jesse Shatkin, Kelly Clarkson, and Sean Douglas. Produced by Jesse Shatkin.
The deluxe edition of the album is out on September 22, 2023, via Atlantic Records.
The album comprises 22-track, including the previous 14-track, five new additions, a live version and a remix of her song “Mine,” as well as a remix of “Favorite Kind of High.”
Also one song, “You Don't Make Me Cry,” even includes a feature of her daughter River Rose, 9, whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
  • “Chemistry” was released back in June. Kelly Clarkson said of the album title, “It's called chemistry because I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing 'cause I didn't want everybody to think that I was just coming out with some just like, 'I'm angry. I'm sad,' just one or two emotions. This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship, and a whole relationship shouldn't be just brought down to one thing. So there's the good, the bad, the ugly thing kinda going on in it.”
She added, “Chemistry can be a really amazing sexy, cool, fun thing, but it can also be very bad for you. I thought it was kinda the perfect title to describe the entire album.”
