Dutch DJs R3HAB and Afrojack teamed up again to release a new song “Shockwave” on January 27, 2023.
The track was written by Fadil El Ghoul, Nick van de Wall, Harry Michael and Tyron Hapi. Produced by R3HAB and Afrojack.
The track is their first collaborative single since “Worlds On Fire” featuring Au/Ra, which was released last July.
For R3HAB, the song is his first single of 2023. While, Afrojack joined in the song after the collaborative song “Alone Again” with Chico Rose released middle of this month.
R3HAB said, “Afrojack and I have worked together for over ten years, and this last year has been the best yet. We released our anthem 'Worlds On Fire,' remixed each other's records, and played B2B sets at the world's biggest festivals. We're excited to start 2023 with "Shockwave," which is unlike any record we've worked on yet. It's been a staple in our sets as we've developed it, and it's finally ready for its official debut. Each year keeps getting better, and we can't wait to see what this one has in store.”
