American singer-songwriter Elle King will release her third studio album “Come Get Your Wife” on January 27, 2023 via RCA Records.
It is her first album in five years since the 2018 album “Shake the Spirit”.
The album comprises 12-track, featuring guest appearances from Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley.
From the album, she unveiled a new song “Tulsa” on January 6, 2023.
The track was written by Elle King, Ella Langley, Bobby Hamrick and Matt McKinney.
Also, American country music singer–songwriter Ashley McBryde performed as background vocals and American country music duo Brothers Osborne's John Osborne played the guitar on the track.- “Tulsa is a song about doing someone wrong,” Elle King said of the song. “This is not about tearing women down but it’s about putting the blame on the wrongdoer. If a man is cheating on you, it’s not her fault because there are a million other girls he would do it with. And he’ll just cheat on her too. It’s a song about uniting and not taking shit from this real P.O.S.”
She continued, “We wrote the song in less than an hour and it’s so raucous and fun. We’ve been playing it on the road and it’s the third song in our show now. It’s fun for us and the crowd!” - source : Apple Music
