London-based singer-songwriter Jacob Collier dropped a piano version of “Never Gonna Be Alone” on December 31, 2022.
The accompanying music video was directed by Rahul Bhatt, featuring sand artist Fatmir Mura.
He recorded the song at his home in London.
The piano version is included on the EP “Never Gonna Be Alone (Alternate Versions)”, which was released on December 30, 2022.
The original version of the song was released in Jube 2022. On the track he worked with American singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine and American guitarist John Mayer.
Jacob Collier shared on social media, “An improvised piano rendition of Never Gonna Be Alone, recorded at home in my room in London, in the middle of the night. I have been an enormous fan of Fatmir Mura's sand work for many years, and asked if he wouldn't mind cooking up a storm to accompany it. I was over the moon when he agreed!”- Photo by Nicole Nodland
