Australian singer-songwriter Tkay Maidza released a new song “Nights In December” on November 14, 2022.
The song is the follow-up to JPEGMAFIA remix of “High Beams”, which was released last month.
“High Beams” is featured on the 2021 EP “Last Year Was Weird”, which consists of a trilogy.
It was written by Tkay Maidza, Michael DeLorenzis and Michael Paynter. Produced by MSquared.
“I thought it would be cool to make a song that captures the feeling of a new relationship but using wintertime in New York as the inspiration,” Tkay Maidza explained of the song in a statement. “I had a trip where I spent a winter in New York, and it was really beautiful so I almost wanted to recreate that feeling in a song.”- source : Apple Music
