Irish singer-songwriter Biig Piig premiered a new song “This Is What They Meant” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is taken from her upcoming “Bubble Gum”, following “Kerosene”.
Biig Piig told Clara Amfo about the song, “It's basically a track that's about like, seeing a city through someone else's eyes, falling in love with it. And having this like almost romantic sense when you're there that you just want to stay there like nostalgic kind of feeling. It was a night out in New York. I spent there and then just fell out of council right about. It's just felt really special to me.”
The new EP is set to be released on January 20, 2023. She said, “'bubble gum', the EP is coming out next year, 20 January, is tracks I've been sitting on for like for ages, but I'm just really excited to release a lot of different flavors of genres and everything else inside it and it's just like I'm excited for.”- source : BBC Radio 1
