noelle Releases New Song “Cold Killer”
Canadian singer-songwriter Noelle Otsihsera Maracle, aka noelle released a new song “Cold Killer” along with a music video on September 30, 2022.
The '80s inspired single is the follow-up to “Stupid”, which was released back in March.
The track was written by Noelle Otsihsera Maracle, Alyssa Reid, Jamie Appleby and Ryan Stewart. Produced by Jamie Appleby and Ryan Stewart.
The accompanying video was directed by Dan LeMoyne, who filmed throughout the streets of Toronto.
“'Cold Killer' is an anthem for everyone that has fallen for a player,” noelle said of the song. “A lot of people have put their trust into somebody who didn't deserve it and ended up breaking their heart in the end.”
She continued, “High-energy 'Cold Killer' provides the positive energy needed to cut the 'cold killer' out of one's life. This can be a really difficult thing to do because sometimes you don't even realize that the person who's going to hurt you most, is the one you're intimate with and closest to.”
- Noelle Otsihsera Maracle was raised on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Ontario, in a family and community that surrounded her with music. Her upbringing exposed her to a vast range of musical genres, from Nat King Cole and Sarah Vaughan, to the pow wow drum and native wind flute from her Indigenous roots.
After graduating high school in 2017, she signed her record deal with Wax Records as noelle, and has spent two years developing her sound to create a modern blend of R&B, pop, urban, and jazz influences.
In 2022, she released the debut EP “30k”.
