American singer-songwriter Dora Jar released a new song “Bumblebee” along with a music video on July 29, 2022.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Jack Saunders.
The track follows up her sophomore EP “comfortably in pain”, which was released back in March.
It was written by Cole Carmody, Dora Jarkowski and Solomonophonic. Produced by Dora Jar, Solomonophonic and Ralph Castelli. The video was directed by Dora Jar herself.
Dora Jar said of the song, “'Bumblebee' the song is an attempt to escape the painful reality of human experience and trade it with the perspective of a bumblebee, a creature who can see a higher frequency of light, a creature who has wings and can fly off the cold hard ground, a creature that lives in service of nature. My problems seem silly when I remember the existence of these intelligent creatures who could never be bothered by the trivial things that bother me.”- Photo by Danika Magdelena
